Boiled Whole Lentils - Sundal - Guggullu

- Soak one cup of whole chana for a few hours. You can use the green ones or the brown ones. Both are good.

- Boil the lentils in a pressure cooker for three whistles or so. If you want, you can add a little salt.

- Drain the boiled lentils and they are actually ready to eat already.

- In a dry pan, roast a half cup of onions and a couple of sliced green peppers. Add some curry leaves. When the onions are roasted, add the boiled lentils and roast for a minute or two. Add some coriander leaves and turn the stove off.

- You can squeeze some lemon juice while eating.
