Rice with Fox Millet

Fox Millet (known as Korralu in Telugu) makes a very yummy rice.

These millets are very small, kind of circular, about 1 millimeter in diameter. They are light yellowish in color. And are soft and cook in just about 15 minutes or so.

Cook these in your rice cooker with 1.75 to 2 cups of water for every cup of millets.

This looks quite interesting and taste quite good. Eat while it is hot with any vegetable based or lentil based side dishes that you use for rice.

Diabetic patients who are trying to avoid rice, can use this as yet another tasty and interesting alternative.
